It has been about a month since I arrived in Germany, I found some differences between Taiwan and Germany. The courses here are more focused on practical orientation than theories. We have group discuss and practical learning activities in courses every week. Which helps me learn more efficiently. However, the amount of assignment is a lot more than that in Taiwan. In addition, the proportion of the international students in the university is very high. They are from Spain, France, South Korea, and so forth, and most of the classes are taught in English. So there’s less language barrier during lectures. Also the school is very considerate for the exchange students. They arrange activities every week and take all the exchange students to visit other parts of Germany. Hence, we can adapt to the new environment faster!
